Services Anna Provides:
  • Overnight Care

Hi, my name is Anna and I’m excited to be a part of the A Walk For All Seasons team. I have been living in Mundelein for the last 30 years with my husband and my daughter up until 2016 when she got married and moved out. I retired last year after 25 years as a teacher. Throughout my life, I have loved and was able to take care of many different kinds of animals. As a child, I was only allowed to have small pets so I had fish, a guinea pig, mice and hamsters. It was fun to observe and take care of them and learn about their personalities and behavior.

As an adult, I started owning bigger animals. We first adopted a cat from my friend and then later on got a beautiful Shih Tzu and a Chihuahua mix. They were always a lot of fun and for the last few years I’ve been learning even more about dogs while volunteering at Reach Rescue animal shelter. I have fostered some dogs from the shelter and adopted my current dog, Chino. Volunteering in the shelter allows me to observe and learn about different dogs’ personalities and how to help them overcome their struggles and stressful times.

I have many years of experience pet sitting for my neighbors’ and friends’ animals. Over the years, I have taken care of puppies and older dogs as well as cats. Some of them were sick so I learned to administer medication. I will do my best to give comfort, attention and care to your pets and treat them like my own. I have always been passionate about animals and I can’t wait to care for your pets!
