Hello everyone, my name is Lisa, and I am proud to be part of the team at A Walk for All Seasons. I have always been an “animal person” but when I was young, I could only have reptiles because my father had allergies. I got my first turtle at the age of 10, which I named Michelangelo. It wasn’t until I moved out on my own that I was “adopted” by my first cat. Pickles was a stray who literally got into my car while I was stopped at a light. The universe gifted me a cat and so I took her home to introduce her to my two beagles and she was a beautiful addition to our family.
Over the next 20 years, I would care for my own pets in sickness and health. I would assist in any opportunities to help animals in need, and I would sit for the pets of close friends and family members on a regular basis. Because of this, I have experience with a variety of reptiles and small animals including guinea pigs, bearded dragons, aquatic turtles, fish, ferrets and even snakes. I take pride in making sure any pets I care for are treated as if they were my own. I am a firm believer in providing safe, healthy, and fun environments based off the specific individual needs of each type of animal.
In 2023 I had my first child, a daughter named Logan. She has become an amazing addition to my life and although being a single mom is hard, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Logan has become the youngest member of the AWFAS family. She accompanies me on walks and overnights, which has allowed me to pass my love for animals on to her and I feel so lucky to be able to share this with her.
I look forward to continuing showing my love for the pet community by providing the services offered through A Walk for All Seasons. I look forward to meeting each of our clients along with their furry (or scaley) companions. I thank you in advance for trusting me to provide you and your pets with the highest quality of care.
